Radio Brockley Wins At HBA Awards
Radio Brockley was nominated in four categories for the annual Hospital Broadcasting Association awards, and won in three of these:
Best Speech Package - Gold Award for Keith Reeve's coverage of HRM Princess Eugenie's visit to the Children's wards for their 2012 Christmas Party. Best Newcomer (Molly Townson) - Silver Award Station of the Year - Bronze Award
There are links to the winning entries on our Awards and Accolades page, and photos here.
This was our best result so far at the HBA Awards, and really shows the commitment, hard work, dedication, quality and breadth of our programming to best effect.
We are now broadcasting additional live programmes on Saturday afternoons. There is a request show, and also an hour of hits from year 2000 and on.
Brockley News has all the latest goings-on in and around the hospital every Sunday evening at 8pm, with an extended version on Monday evenings at 8pm. You can also listen to it on-line, here. There's a chance to catch up with Brockley News Xtra every weekday at midday, with extended versions of some interviews, and the best of the rest.
